White Nights in St. Petersburg 5 days/4 nights
The White Nights season is the most fascinating time in St. Petersburg. The long days and eternal twilight of nights bring romance in late strolls along Neva’s embankments where the milky sky reflects in glassy waters of the river. We offer you a special tour that uncovers an unusual atmosphere of the most northern megalopolis. The well balanced programme includes 6 guided tours. Each day is devoted to a special theme all together revealing special character of the youngest of the big cities of Europe.
White Nights in St. Petersburg 5 days/4 nights
Day 1 Arrival to St. Petersburg. Accommodation in chosen hotel.
Day 2 Saint-Petersburg. Literary white nights. Tour of the City «The city of Peter the Great»: Kunstkamera, Spit of Basil’s island, Menshikov’s Palace – the places that is as old as the city. Visit to the Fortress of Peter and Paul, the birth place of St. Petersburg an elegant example of Peter the Great’s baroque. Lunch in the city. Dostoyevsky walking tour invites you to visit places where the famous Russian writer studied, lived and worked. You will visit Memorial museum of Dostoyevsky, places where the events of “The Crime and Punishment” have taken place, pass the house at Vladimirsky prospect and visit the one at Kuznechny lane.
Optional: River boat cruise.
Day 3 Saint-Petersburg-Peterhof. Tsars white nights. Visit to the Hermitage - the most celebrated and the most important of Russian museums. This is one of the most beautiful museums in the world, not only because of its collections, but in light of the buildings themselves. Lunch in the city. Departure to Peterhof (Petrodvorets) by hydrofoil. Visit to an amazing ensemble of parks, palaces and fountains which for over two centuries was a summer residence of Russian tsars. You will visit Monplaisir and the Bath house. Return to St.Petersburg by hydrofoil.
Optional: Classical ballet.
Day 4 Saint-Petersburg. Orthodox white nights. Visit to the St. Isaac’s Cathedral. Walking tour over Nevsky prospect. Visit to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan. Time for lunch (no arrangements).
Optional: Folk show in Palace of Grand Duke Nicolay
Day 5 Saint-Petersbourg. Departure.
Tour can be customized to your taste. We can include additional excursions or performances on your request.
